We’re practical bitches- I mean witches. We aren’t afraid to mix magic and the mundane because we know you can’t have one without the other. We love signs from nature- we embrace omens, using talismans, and “telling it like it is”. We abide by the creed “harm none and do what ye will”, unless we have to protect ourselves- in those cases we aren’t above a return to sender spell. Our goal is to be benevolent forces of nature, like all the cherished grandmothers before us, while sharing our “everyday scared” experiences with you. We hope that listening to our stories evokes feelings of kinship and inspiration to live your life magically in the material world- and that in hearing our stories you realize you aren’t the only weird one out there enjoying the universe’s jokes and surviving its trials. In this episode Willow and Wednesday discuss some of the methods they have used to protect themselves in real time after someone violated their boundaries. The methods they discuss are both effective and work within the karmic loophole/gray area of protection in a case by case basis. They discuss the serious ethical considerations one must make before using any of these spells and why they use them sparingly. In experienced practitioners should not use these methods without consulting an experienced witch/an experienced witch's supervision. These spells are last resort actions when personal safety feels threatened, but they do not negate the need for practical safety measures (such as calling the police, locking your doors, and watching your children) that we use in the everyday mundane world.
